Description:

67-year-old bachelor Loo Yeong Seng was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer seven years ago. After undergoing surgery, he became unable to work and lost his source of income, placing him in financial difficulty.

Loo is from Butterworth. In 2018, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer. He underwent surgery and radiation therapy.

In January this year, doctors confirmed that the cancer cells had started to spread, and he now requires regular follow-up treatments at the hospital.

He is single and used to work as a sculptor, earning a decent living. However, after falling ill, he could no longer continue working.

He currently rents a kampung house for RM300 per month and receives RM600 monthly assistance from the Welfare Department.

The Qi Li Xiang Charity has decided to allocate RM500 as medical assistance fund to reduce the burden of patient.
