67岁的陈玉群居住在大山脚，他是借住亲友提供的房屋，无需缴付房租，只需承担每月水电费用。她目前做一些零工，月收入约200令吉。

原本生活尚可维持，但自患病后，持续的医药开销令她难以负担，生活陷入困境，因此对外求助。

七里香接获求助派员前往家访，经过了解和审核后，本会议决拨出500令吉医药援助金给陈玉群，以减轻其医药负担。

Description:

A 67-year-old single woman, CHIN YOKE CHOON was diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) in May last year and requires long-term medication to manage her condition. Without a stable source of income, the monthly medical expenses of approximately RM500 have become a heavy financial burden for her.

CHIN, who lives in Bukit Mertajam, is currently staying in a house provided by relatives and friends. She does not have to pay rent and is only responsible for the monthly utility bills. At present, she takes on odd jobs and earns about RM200 per month.

Although she was previously able to make ends meet, the ongoing medical expenses following her illness have become increasingly difficult to bear, leaving her in financial hardship. As a result, she has appealed to the public for assistance.

The Qi Li Xiang Charity has decided to allocate RM500 as medical assistance fund to reduce the burden of patient.
