七旬老翁病逝，家属经济有限，众人协助后事。

七旬老翁郭秋伟不幸病逝，由于家属经济能力有限，无力承担丧事费用，因而向七里香众人施棺组寻求协助。

往生者郭秋伟（KOK AH PEK），享年77岁，生前以从事散工维持家计。其妻子为家庭主妇，两人育有2名女儿。

据了解，郭氏约一个月前不幸中风，入院接受治疗约一周后返家休养。惟之后出现呼吸困难症状，家人见状立即将他送往医院救治，无奈病情恶化，最终不幸离世，死因是器官衰竭。

由于家属经济能力有限，面对突如其来的丧事费用难以承担，因此向七里香慈善基金会求助。

本会了解情况后，决定协助办理逝者身后事，包括领尸、设灵、出殡及火化等事宜，让逝者早日安息。

✍️Coffin & Funeral assistance case No: 647

The 77-years-old old man sadly passed away after battling illness. As his family has limited financial means and was unable to afford the funeral expenses, they sought assistance from the Qi Li Xiang Charity's coffin team.

The deceased KOK AH PEK (77 years old) worked as a casual labourer during his lifetime to support his family. His wife is a housewife, and the couple had two daughters.

According to information, KOK suffered a stroke about a month ago and was hospitalised for approximately a week before returning home to recuperate. However, he later developed breathing difficulties. His family immediately rushed him to the hospital for treatment, but his condition deteriorated and he sadly passed away. The cause of death was reported as organ failure.

Due to the family’s limited financial resources, they were unable to bear the unexpected funeral expenses and therefore sought assistance from the Qi Li Xiang Charity.

The Qi Li Xiang Charity fully assisted with the entire process, including body claiming, funeral wake, funeral procession, and cremation services, ensuring the deceased could rest in peace with dignity.

Donations may be made directly to the bank account of the Qi Li Xiang Charity , or via Touch ’n Go and other bank e-wallet platforms. Every act of generosity is deeply appreciated, and your kindness will leave a lasting blessing.
