七旬老妇罗亚妹今年年初突然出现脊椎疼痛，导致行动不便，日常生活受到严重影响，只能卧在床上。由于她和丈夫年事已高，面对生活压力，无计可施之下，唯有向外求助。

罗亚妹（71岁），来自大山脚。她是今年初突然感到脊椎剧烈疼痛，家人立即带她前往医院检查。经医生诊断，她患上骨质疏松症，导致行动不便及脊椎疼痛。医生为她开钙质补充剂及止痛药，以缓解疼痛。

罗亚妹与75岁丈夫育有5名子女，分别为53岁女儿（单身）、50岁女儿（已婚）、47岁儿子（已故）、44岁女儿（已婚），以及42岁儿子（单身，患有精神疾病）。

目前，夫妻俩与大女儿以及小儿子同住。大女儿每月给予父母300令吉作为家用，而小儿子则每月获得福利部300令吉援助金。

罗亚妹碍于无法自行如厕，日常生活需要使用纸尿片，每天约需5片，尺码为XL（黏贴式），因此纸尿片也成为家庭每月固定的生活开销之一。

七里香接获求助派员前往家访，经过了解和审核后，本会议决拨出500令吉医药援助金给罗亚妹，以减轻其医药负担。

Description:

Seventy-one-year-old Madam LOH Ah MOY from Bukit Mertajam began experiencing severe spinal pain earlier this year. After undergoing a medical examination, she was diagnosed with osteoporosis, which has caused limited mobility and left her mostly bedridden. She was prescribed calcium supplements and painkillers to manage her condition.

Madam LOH AH MOY and her 75-year-old husband have five children. They currently live with their eldest daughter and youngest son. The eldest daughter contributes RM300 monthly for household expenses, while the youngest son receives RM300 in monthly assistance from the Welfare Department.

Due to her limited mobility, Madam LOH AH MOY is unable to use the toilet independently and requires approximately five XL adhesive adult diapers daily. The cost of diapers has therefore become an additional regular expense for the family.

The Qi Li Xiang Charity has decided to allocate RM500 as medical assistance fund to reduce the burden of patient.
