59岁妇女邱秀玲患上天疱疮（Pemphigus），除了需定期复诊，每月还需花费超过200令吉购买药物。由于没有固定收入，长期医药开销加重了家庭经济负担，无奈之下向外寻求援助。

邱秀玲来自大山脚，于2025年因口腔疼痛前往医院检查，确诊患上天疱疮。她需外用药物控制病情，每月医药费用超过200令吉。

她与65岁丈夫育有一子一女，目前与丈夫及32岁女儿同住，儿子则已与家人失去联系。女儿在金店任职，是家中主要经济来源。

其丈夫原为罗里司机，惟在2022年发生意外后身体受影响，无法继续工作。

邱秀玲目前只能偶尔接家庭手工，每月收入约100令吉。一家三口目前租住政府组屋，每月租金100令吉。在收入有限的情况下，日常生活费、房租及持续不断的医药费用，令一家人生活拮据，因此向外寻求援助。

七里香接获求助派员前往家访，经过了解和审核后，本会议决拨出500令吉医药援助金给邱秀玲，以减轻其医药负担。

Description:

Fifty-nine-year-old Madam KHOO SIEW LING from Bukit Mertajam was diagnosed with pemphigus in 2025 after experiencing oral pain. She requires regular medical follow-ups and topical medication, with monthly medical expenses exceeding RM200.

Madam KHOO and her 65-year-old husband have a son and a daughter. They currently live with their 32-year-old daughter, who works at a jewellery shop and is the family’s main source of income. Their son has lost contact with the family.

Her husband was formerly a lorry driver but was unable to continue working after sustaining injuries in an accident in 2022. Madam KHOO has no stable income and occasionally takes on handicraft work from home, earning around RM100 per month.

The family currently rents a government flat at RM100 per month. With limited income and ongoing medical, rental and daily living expenses, the family is facing financial difficulties and is seeking assistance.

The Qi Li Xiang Charity has decided to allocate RM500 as medical assistance fund to reduce the burden of patient.
